Andy Lovering is an author and outdoor photographer, specializing in wildlife, nature, landscapes and all aspects of travel photography. A finalist in the prestigious BBC Wildlife Photographer of the Year Competition, Andy has had many images published worldwide in brochures, magazines and newspapers, plus his own book: "Wildlife In Wild Places".
A British citizen, born in Singapore in 1960, Andy was raised in England and developed an interest in natural history at an early age. He began to photograph wildlife in 1980 after an "eye-opening" visit to the Isles of Scilly and has continued his passion, whenever possible, since.
Extensive travel within Europe, Africa, Asia, Australia and the Americas has enabled Andy to produce a substantial library of evocative images of the wildlife, nature and scenery of these destinations. He aspires to capture the beauty and personality of his subjects, wherever possible, in their natural habitat. Subjects include Leopards & Cheetahs in Namibia, Lions & Hyenas in Tanzania, Elephants & Antelopes in Kenya, Alligators & Bald Eagles in the Everglades, Sea Lions & Blue Footed Boobies in Galapagos, Kangaroos & Koalas in Australia, Orang Utans & Rafflesia in Borneo, Ibex & Chamois in the Alps, together with many more mammals, birds, insects, plants and landscapes from Britain, Europe and Worldwide.
